Dont know how this happened, it was on the passenger side, just noticed. Think it happened in a parking lot; inconsiderate people. Beautiful car, my first new one, so dissapointed.:(

Depends on how severe it is. Post a few pix so we can see and comment.

A high end auto detail shop may be able to help. A few of them offer dent and scratch repair.

Someone hit the side of my car (rear door, back quarter by gas cap) - it was a long dented line (with some paint off at bumper).

Paintless dent guy was unsure when he started, but now you wouldn't know it was hit unless you look very very close. Paint chips were touched up.

The dent people are well worth their money (quote for body shop - $2200 - dent guy - $400)

If it is a deep scratch I think it is important to get some touch up paint on it right away to prevent rust.

Go to your local Toyota dealer and get a touch up paint tube for your car. It should cost around $9. The color will match. Clean the scratch and apply some touch up paint. This will stop rust. If you are not happy with the way it looks get a few quotes a local body shops.

In a way, I don't want to see a picture. I can hear the pain in your words.

Without seeing a picture, I'd say your options all funnel through a bodyshop...

I'm sorry...you get a new vehicle..you hope to keep it pristine for at least a while. It sucks to get damage so quickly.

Any reputable, professional body shop (hopefully) honest would be able to tell you exactly what your repairative options might be....

Good Luck...and despite potential cost...it can be fixed....
