How many miles do you drive a year on your Prius?

that's about average. i only put about 6000 a year on mine. we take my wifes hycam on long trips and to florida every winter.

 

I bet you have a lot of >25,000 answers, I do about 30,000

 

16,000 in my first year.

 

I did ~10k in my first 6 months so I'm guessing around 20k a year. Though I've only had my car a little over 6 months now.

 

Havn't had mines for too long but I checked the 15000-20000 miles. I plan on putting as much miles as I can on it but I drive and average of 18k miles a year. In my opinion, it doesn't make sense to not to drive the car unless you live near public transportation, work or "bike".

 

35k a year for me

 

It has been about 14 months since I got my V and I have about 13,000 miles on it. Just about 1K per month.

 

I average only 7,000 miles per year - mostly city driving.

My dad was a traveling salesman for Michelin Earthmover and averaged 75,000+ per year. He would have loved the Prius!

 

Last year I put 20200 miles on it. Pretty much high way driving due to commuting a 120 miles down to work on Fridays and another 120 back on Mondays. Then whatever I put on during that weekend or the week.

 

I'll end up with about 20,000 for my first year.

 

I bought mine on June 4th, 2009, and it now has 52,970 miles on it. I average about 40k year generally.

 

30-40k a year. Me and the wife both use the Prius as much as possible and let the SUV alone as much as possible.

 

It has dropped a little bit for me recently. I work from home as much as possible; my commute to the office is 100 miles round trip. I had more miles per year when I had to go in to the office more.

Personal travel, around town, is fairly low.

 

I drove 42,000 miles in 2010, will probably do more than that in 2011, but now I have two cars, so the Prius will only see about 35,000 and my Kia will be used only when I need the extra space. (Until I trade it in on another Prius?)

I think we'll drive a bit less this year, but still around 20k.

The Prius is my commuter and the "family" car.

 

I have a 60 mile daily commute which I do with my Honda Insight. Our Prius is the wife's car and the car we use when we travel together. We have been going a lot lately, over 4000 miles on the Prius since we bought it on Dec 29. Usually, we put 20,000-30,000 miles on our family car; looks like it will be on the high end this year.

 

Ugh. I am embarrassed to admit it, but we have 21,000 miles on our 10 month old Prius. The good news: only about 8,000 this year on the Tacoma because the Prius is so much fun (and cheaper) to drive. I now wash the Tacoma more so that it doesn't feel quite so left out of family life!

 

We're typically 16000 km's per year, about 10000 miles. So, the time and distance factors in the service schedule are neck-and-neck

 

A little less than 10K miles in 1.5 years. I know. That's terrible. I live 1.2 miles from work. This explains why I might have the worst mileage on this forum. It does fantastic on longer trips though.
