    Hi PC. Here is my installed kit; I Ordered light bamboo (and the box is labled such) but it is not as light as some of the other installs I have seen, but its still a very nice touch! :)

    The fit, color and you installation work is the best I have seen on a Prius. Nice kit and work on your part.:rockon:

    No matter how many times I see it, the sporty steering wheel looks totally out of place with the wood trim.

    Yeah, lot of love it or hate it when it comes to this wood trim.I never thought I would have a car with wood trim! Has to be the right color.

    I've got the light bamboo kit, and I've noticed that the white print on the driver's door switch panel is starting to erode. I'd suggest that others use some sort of clear spray overcoat before installation to prevent this erosion.

    Why not remove the printing completely? It's not necessary and the part looks cleaner without it.

    I have a question, where did you order your dash kit at ?

    I do not know where to find it.

    Had some bad experience from eBay (cheap dash kit didn't fit my other car well and won't refund me the money).

    dash = $146 (also comes in gray wood)

    Lower Door Molding, Semi Chrome Finish at Sparks Toyota-Scion, Myrtle Beach, SC
    Mouldings - $135 (brushed chrome finish)

    FedEx shipping was $10 each.

    Many folks on PChat used them too. Excellent selection of Prius parts, service, delivery.

    The bamboo wood finish really brightens up the interior and transitions the bisque <> gray dash plastic nicely.

    FYI, the lower door mouldings available on PChat Shop too.

    Anyone out there with pics of the Black Birds Eye Maple, or something close, like Platinum Burl,I liked to see that with a Dark Greay Interior. Thanks in advance:D

    Black Bird's Eye maple on the Lexus RX.

    The nice thing about it is it looks glossy black from a distance but when you get up close you can actually see the bird's eye grain, just like much more obvious golden bird's eye maple in my RX350. It'd go much better with the Prius interior and especially with the sporty steering wheel which looks out of place with the lighter wood grain (and you can even upgrade the steering wheel to glossy black or similar trim to match). However, there's no kit like that available.
