I recently got my Provisional License (i can finallyyyy drive without parental supervision),

My Prius has the basic non-nav, non-JBL audio system, what would be the best way of playing my ipod through the speakers?

    thanks :)

The Dice iPod unit is what I use. I am currently researching the best option for a new nav-type head unit altogether, but in the meantime it has been just fine and was very easy to install. It does have its drawbacks in function though, particularly in the way it handles playlists. Check into it a bit. Its the fastest and cheapest available as far as I know.

    Good luck.

    :) Congratulations. Drive safely!

I believe the 2008 base model still has an aux port for you to plug your ipod in. Of course the safest and most user friendly method is the DICE unit.

I'm almost at 2000 posts. It's like counting down to Y2K all over again!

The Dice Silverline Pro works well on my 2005 Prius. Dice have discontinued it but it is still available on Buy.com for $99
