new 2011 Prius IV owner, no NAV but the car does have blue tooth. I have iPhone 3G and can setup the phone for blue tooth but cannot figure out how to play audio through the iphone via the ipod feature.

Please help, I've been searching for quite a while and can't figure this out.

I have the 2010 Prius IV, and I play my iPhone 3G though the USB Port in the back of the arm rest box. You control your iPhone/iPod app through the head unit once you push the AUDIO then AUX button. It takes a few seconds, then it syncs up.

I did see that, the 2011 does not have a usb port but rather I can use a (not sure the name of the cable) but it is a wire with a headphone jack to head phone jack - two male ends and connect one to the headphone port on the iphone and the other to the aux, but my aux is not usb.

It does work and when connected using this wire and I can play the music on my ipod portion of my iPhone, but I was hoping to be able to play my ipod music through the blue tooth and not have a wire in my car.
