It's a little better? I don't think we Joe Schmos can pull off this look, at least as a dd.

Not gonna lie though, I'd love to own this car!

    Thanks Grumpy!

Front bumper looks a little to strong but the rear looks nice. Any idea when this kit/wing will be available?

Geez, I'm just too old to trick out my car like that. I used to "trick out" my car by putting my Cleveland Indians hat in the back window ledge. Guess I can't do that anymore either!

    Happy Motoring,

    Tom

    Freedom.
I suppose if you like "the wing" you can do everything you can to try to get one.

    I think it looks ridiculous.

This is a Prius, not a funny car. I'm not against updating a look or personalizing, but I need at least the imaginative premise that the form would follow some degree of function, otherwise it just becomes a joke.

I don't think it looks ridiculous. It's actually quite cool and beats all our cars, even Rodney's.

Rather, this is all about the $$$$$. Does the function or even coolness factor outweigh the cost? The answer is a resounding NO.

If you like it? You like it. But a wing on a hybrid vehicle? A Prius as it exists today? I think it's ridiculous.

I had a friend that had a KIA Rio...with a spoiler....it was ridiculous as well...

I see this as a vanity modification, pure visual candy. You want it? Can afford it? Can obtain it? Go for it....

I personally wouldn't want it, if I could get it for free...

No need for a wing on the rear of a FWD car, and like all the wings I have seen on street cars it is totally nonfunctional. I am not a big fan of fake stuff tacked on because someone thinks it looks cool.

I think this wing is KILLER!!! It was a challenge at first to see that many of those who buy the Prius cars are strictly interested in the "green" aspect of them. However, then there are the others who bought them just because we wanted to get better gas mileage than we were getting in a previous/additional car. Still yet, there are those of us who bought our Prius because we saw the visual potential that the car possessed. Modifying (or "pimping", as it was said on one of our forum's main pages) is a means of self-expression. It's no different than wearing certain clothing, or having a particular hairstyle. How many thousands of Prius cars are on the roads now? They pretty much all come rolling off the assembly lines as carbon copies of each other (except for minor tweaks -- i.e., packages/models I-V). I'd hate to be stuck having to rely on the license plates of 4 identical Prius cars to decide which one was mine in a parking lot. People dress their dogs in clothes.... They landscape their property... It's all part of taking pride in your possession and making it unmistakably yours! The Prius is a cool car. Just because it gets good gas mileage and is a technological wonder doesn't mean it can't look visually wonderful! I love the wing! I love the whole idea in general!!

Can't eat those. I'm allergic. Do you have any other wing form of food to post that did not derive from an animal? Good luck with that.

Body kit is a 6/10 without the wing. Like the wheels and drop though.

Price on that wing is ridiculous!
Carbon Fiber 120,000 Yen or $1,536.00 US Dollars
Carbon Fiber Painted 140,000 Yen or $1,792.00 US Dollars
Fiberglass unpainted 76,000 Yen or $972.80 US Dollars
Fiberglass Panted 96,000 Yen or $1,228.80 US Dollars
of course these prices are based on the current translation rate of .0128 on the yen to us dollars.

I like the wing, it's there to provide lift and everybody knows that a lighter car is a more fuel efficient car.:cheer2:
