Don't buy from them, I called them myself about a month ago and confirmed availabilty and placed the order. I was charged for the springs and about two days I got a email stating that the part was out of stock or discontinued. I called back and the same guy told me that they were out of stock. I would never order from them. I tried calling around and almost everyone is out of stock. Either prius drivers are ordering these springs or they just don't have enough of them.

Here is the email message I received:
We regret to inform you that the item(s) you ordered is discontinued by the manufacture and no more are in stock. We have currently cancelled out the order so your funds are not withheld. To order something else or similar, please call our sales staff at 1-800-959-0145 ext 2 through 5 If you are having difficulties, call the number below, and we will take your order down manually. If you paid by credit card, you will see the charge go off your card within 48-72 business hours. If you paid by paypal, the amount should already be on your account refunded.

    Thank you in advance,

I am only guessing you guys want Tein's because they are cheaper than the Tanabe's? I have had the DF210's now for about 9 months and cannot say enough good things about them. Considering I'm riding on stock shocks and struts the ride is amazing for being so low. Just my .02 if you want instant gratification. Pay yhe extra money. You won't be disappointed.

been thinking about getting springs for my prius as well. are tanabe's better than tiens? i've always thought that tien was a pretty good brand. if the tanabe's are definitely better then i wouldn't mind forking out the extra dough.. however, if the quality is about the same than i wouldn't mind saving myself a few bucks and wait till the tiens are back in stock.

maybe someone can start a socal group buy&install:D

The problem with Tanabe's only low 1.1 to 1.3 . I thought Tein lower more. 1.4-1.5. I prefer the car low more.

As for if they are better I would not go that far. Tein's are a very good company and have nothing against them. Would very much consider them as well. I just ended up with the Tanabe's and just wanted to express just how happy I was with them. Mugen, I'm not sure which Tanabe's you're looking at but I'll post a pic of my car with the DF210's just so you can see it sits pretty low. Will just need to log in on my other computer so it will be another post. Anybody try calling Five Axis as they are using the Tein's for their whole setup? Maybe it's just my wheels as well being bigger but I would say my car is lower and tucks the tires more so than Rodney's who has the Tein's with all his Five Axis stuff. Pics to come.

Straight from their respective websites. :
    Tanabe NF210 - 1.0 Front/ 1.1 Rear
    Tanabe DF210 - 1.3 Front/ 1.6 Rear
    Tein H-Tech - 1.4 Front/ 1.5 Rear

So there ya have it. If there was anything I'd want out of the DF210's which is part of the reason I want coil-overs down the road is a little more down in the front. It sits nice now but wish it was just a touch lower. The rears tuck quite nicely. So that explains why it looks like my rear tires tuck more than Rodney's and his front seems to sit a tad lower. None the less, was just throwing it out there as the Tanabe's are a great alternative, just more expensive. Here's a couple pics.

Tein (This seller is listing 4 available, but not sure how many he has in stock since most sellers are out of stock. Doesn't allow local pick-up though, so you have to pay the shipping):
TEIN H-TECH LOWERING SPRINGS TOYOTA PRIUS SKQ08-G1B00 - eBay (item 390294427927 end time Apr-03-11 00:22:09 PDT)
    Tanabe DF210:
TANABE DF210 SPRINGS TOYOTA PRIUS 10-UP - eBay (item 360232396764 end time Mar-31-11 21:57:47 PDT)

TANABE NF210 SPRINGS TOYOTA PRIUS 10-UP - eBay (item 190372792034 end time Apr-08-11 22:11:54 PDT)
I have purchased from the seller of the Tanabe springs before. You could offer him a price, and he'll let you know if he could meet it or not. If anything, he'll tell you the lowest price he can go. And, he is willing to provide local pick-up if you schedule with him.
I have the NF springs on my Prius, and it really doesn't feel too different from stock other than being lower. IMO, I wish the rear springs didn't drop as much as they do. I know, I might be the only one who wants the rear a bit higher...

Nice look. Have you experienced any wheel alignment problems or symptoms of impending problems with that drop? Do you think you need camber kits front/rear for more adjustment?

I have not had a single problem with any of it. I installed spacers and had to roll the rear fenders to get the look I was after but beyond that it aligned perfectly. The rear has no adjustment at all unfortunately. Would have loved to add a little camber but not without major mods and just not worth it to me. As long as whatever wheels you go with are within reason it will be just fine.
