Here is the result of my 1st fuel up since picking the car at the dealership.

Had to fill up earlier than expected due to another trip to town, picking my daughter up at the train station as she called earlier to announced she was visiting. Anyway, here is the numbers...

    Metric - 692km, 36.415litres @ $1.175 for a 5.3L/10km avg
    US - 430mi, 9.62gal @ $4.46 for a 44.7MPG

I honestly was hoping for better, guess I am still in the learning mode of or getting used to driving the Prius inlieu of my Highlander.

I ended up resetting the "Trip A" by mistake this morning after parking the car at work to review the morning drive. Since I now had a fresh trip meter... my trip home from work today resulted in a 4.0L/100km off a 46.9km trip which is mostly highway as explained in the above post. I really liked seeing these numbers.

Much better avg than my highlander, right! But am I to expect better avg's in the future? I guess time will tell.

Yes but going by the letters, it's two letters (BD to BF) in 2 months vs. BF to BL in 2 years. At the previous rated I expected to see Ontario at Cxxx :D haha.

Yes. First, the car needs to break in (1,600km), the tyres need to break in and it's winter (winter fuel blend, heater requirements, colder temps, etc etc). I was at 4.2L/100km right off the dealer lot in August. And I set a new record 4.0L/100km last summer (4.2L/100km calculated by hand) so I expect to at least match it this year. I swap tyres so my AS tyres will take longer to break in.
