If you prefer not to order from The-Website-That-Shall-Not-Be-Named or wait for Danny, you can always go to Sigma (a sponsor): Toyota Prius 2010+ ZVW30 Exterior Accessories :: Sigma Automotive.

The way it's explained on Sigma's website is that you order the LED Signal Lamps ($225 - clear) and the Signal Mirror Covers ($275 - painted). Sigma will then subtract the OEM signal lamps from the Signal Mirror Covers and adjust the price downward. The only issue with Sigma (other than probably the price) is that it holds all orders until a scheduled date, then the pooled orders are sent over to Japan.

Again, as an apparent sponsor with an existing relationship and delivery system, I would have thought that someone might have worked with Sigma for a group buy or that someone at Sigma might have seen this thread and offered one. But I guess sponsorship doesn't work that way.

RodJo...Your doing a great job. Page 10-item 12 of link below, is one of many that shows how to remove the A-Pilar cover. It's pretty easy, just remember to rotate the one clip 90 deg or the cover will not come off. Removing the battery cable (plus 90 secs.) is optional but advisable because of the air bag. I have also attached 2 photos of whats under it. You may be able to unwind the spiral wrap to find the blue wire. I'm sure you already have this info, but just in case.

Thanks. I've read that it's pretty easy, but with my luck I might rip the airbag. So, I think it might be option #3. But you are right, it's probably the easiest access to the blue wire and I might just take the chance. We'll see....

I just want to say thank you to everyone involved trying to sort all of this out. Between trying to buy them as well as trying to do the tech stuff involved with the install it looks like it is finally coming together. As for my part trying to deal with Nigel and i had a couple of people here PM me about trying to get out and see them working, I decided to pass on it all as it just wasn't going to work out with our schedules not to mention he decided to sell them from under me to someone else just because that persons car was going into the bodyshop. He initially told me he was putting them on his car and wasn't going to sell them. I figured no big deal, but for someone that was willing to go out of my way to try and help drum up some business for him and he did what he did, I am pretty satisfied with the results. Good rep or not. Now, hurry up Danny and let's get those things selling on here.

You must have gotten the same email the rest of us who contacted Nigel did. If so, you already know that the factory is all out of stock right now and it'll take a month to build. His set was the only one he had and while he may not have planned to sell them, he most likely decided to do it once he got the bad news from the factory because the person whose car was in the body shop needed them more than Nigel did. Unless for some reason Nigel actually promised you his own set. CivicSky's supplier will have the same problem once he runs out of his current stock regarding the wait time from the factory.

I am interested in doing this mod when my car arrives next month. Why? Who knows, just to be different and put my 'touch' on the car I guess? It certainly does nothing for MPG's!
I did some google-ing, comparing and shopping. Sigmas (can't tell about the courtesy or other front light) has one light pipe, Nigel's (+$100 for paint? hmm...) matches CivicSky's lights with two smaller light pipes. I like the ones CivicSky has. Many thanks to all for locating the wiring tap ins. I hate to pull apart any ABS components or even get close to them. As far as connections go, I usually strip back the wire, solder in a tap and cover with electrical tape. I guess I just do not trust crimp connectors or having to pack all that junk back under the panels. Also when the service techs see that they know you have been in there. Electrical tape and loom tubing that matches factory is all but invisible.

As already discussed they all seem to be the same, probably made in the same factory. The light shown on the Sigma website (click on the thumbnail) is clearly shown as having two light pipes and as being branded by Grazio-Designs. This link also shows two light pipes in the Grazio light:
    ã€Âã¿んカラ】 Grazio & Co. LED WELCOME LAMP UNIT å–り付ã‘|ウィッシュ/トヨタ|整備手帳|やã¶~暴走天使~ - 車・自動車SNS(ブログ・パーツ・整備・燃費)

Now, how do you get to $100 for paint? Sigma wants $225 just for the lights (i.e. no cover). If your just looking at CivicSky's deal, he has no warranty and received free help in HK, etc. So I still don't get your math.

Nigel's site listed an extra $100 for the paint.

On Sigmas site the angle of the image I could get to, it looked like one thick pipe in the middle. If they are the same - great.

I should have chosen express mail while sending the sample set. No idea why it takes more than a week this time to reach the US. I wanna kill myself everytime I track the package online. Come on!\
BTW, do they look like this?

I see the confusion. I "think" Nigel is including the two covers in the listed painted price. His English isn't perfect, so I forgive his description, which could be clearer (we are not receiving mirrors either). Anyway, I paid less as part of the group buy.

I have attached the image you should see on the Sigma site. I see two light pipes at least in the lower right-hand corner (being lit with the amber LED's). I assume that you are scrolling all the way down to the "LED Signal Lamp" (under OE and Misc) and not looking at the "Signal Mirror Covers" near the top of the page (under JDM).

Regardless, if you apply the group buy code, it's $60 cheaper so more like $40 extra for paint. Not really different from $60 that Civicsky's supplier charges for painting. Both are very competitively priced.

Thanks! I was wondering if I could take a dremel tool and just cut out that section from existing mirror covers? Would that work?

Uh... I think you'll still need a method to mount the turn signals onto the cover.

I'm guessing you would mess up the paint. At best, the edge wouldn't be painted or beveled.

Zedknepplin, get the removed mirror shell cheap from someone who does the upgrade and dremel away as a trial part.

The instructions looked like the light was mounted to the mirror housing by a couple of screws, The cover was just snapped on over them. Since they are plastic, no rust and some touch up paint on the edges. Just a thought, probably better to just get them painted. Thanks...

They finally try to sell those over here! They could have seen our long discussion about those signal lights and wanted to make some bucks. I wonder how much they charge for paint? Some of those come in blue LED (don't know why?) but you can choose not to connect those. Every time I see someone else has the lights, I wonder what takes so long to deliver the sample set!!! What is going on?!
