V35, those appear to be Goodyear Assurance (Fuel Max?) tires. I didn't know they came on a new Prius. How do you like them, the ride, handling?

BTW, get some plastic on that front end to keep the chips away.

Depends on what color you want but ebay has a plethora of options. Just search "X" Vinyl Sheet, and just replace the "X" with any color you want. For example, I used dark red, so I searched " Dark Red Vinyl Sheet" In terms of size, 12" x 12" ( 1 foot x 1 foot) is more than enough to make both the front and rear emblems with extra to spare in case you mess up. I ended up doing the rear badge twice to make it perfect.

I like them a lot. They are quieter than the Yokohomas that came on my brother's Prius, and they are very comfortable. At first I was reluctant to see the limits of the tires in terms of handling since it is an economy tire but as I started getting comfortable with the Prius' handling dynamics I started pushing them more. They have quite a decent limit for lateral G force and it's limit is easy to read, meaning they won't break traction unexpectedly. I've taken turns aggressively on offramps and turns in dry/wet weather and they've held their own without so much as breaking traction.

    Hi V35,
    Well done on the mods!!!
I got my 2010 IV a few weeks ago, and it's time to do a l'il somethin' somethin' to it.

I have a question though regarding your mod:
"Then I got the HIC USA window deflectors. Lets me roll the windows down in the rain to get some fresh air in. I also did the "DIY Lip" using garage door lining from Home Depot".

Can you please elaborate a bit on the "DIY Lip" idea with the HIC USA Deflectors???
I understand about the Deflectors, just not clear on the Lip addition.

    Thank you very much,
    BigBen

The pics don't really show the lip too clearly because it was getting dark when I finished cleaning the car. Check this thread out for better pics and instructions on how to do it. It's basically a front lip attached to the front bumper. I use it as protection from scrapes since the front bumper hangs low.

    Thank you V35.
Did you buy the HIC Deflectors online directly from the "HIC Store" or elsewhere. I see 'em there for $44.95 or something like that.

I got them from ebay to save myself on taxes since I'm in Cali. You'll save more money by getting them directly from their website.

Nice set of fun car =). Looking at getting a car to supplement my craving on the track. Prius doesn't quite cut it even with suspension mods.

Your Prius looks similar to mine! :D I have a 10 Prius III in Blizzard Pearl with Nav & Solar sunrrof. I have done the wheel center caps & tinted the windows too but I went with 25% carbon tint. I also had a Clear Bra installed on the entire front end, complete hood, door edges, headlights & door handle cups.
