    Thanks for the tips..smoked tail lights are illegal in Mass. unfortunately. Thats funny you mention the vanity plate..im looking for one now that would work..most of the good ones are taken.

    I'm most curious to ask you about the DIY cruise control... was it hard to do? I'm not that technical but i'd pay a couple hundred bucks to add cruise control to my Prius. Thanks.

    Yeah I think it is here too but that won't stop me the cops are to busy at the donut shop..lol!

    Back to the cruise look here post#23 complete DYI!Like I say people do it! I do all my own mods when i can, Find someone who can help you with it! It was easy on my Yaris but I had step by step DYI!
    I use cruise all the time around town,Helps me do the speed limit..lol

    I really don't either Jason. Been trying to look in the real world for examples and have yet to see anything but so new at the Prius I haven't been looking very long. Thanks again for your input!

    I put the mud guards on my Prius. It doesn't look that bad, really. I noticed it helped keep the tire spray off more of the car, so that was a plus. Install was simple. I'm just too lazy to go take a picture or I forget when I plan to do it. It's only been about a year since I added them :)

    I didn't even notice that the rear wiper wasn't there. I actually think I would prefer it that way. It isn't good for anything. Sometimes my wife turns it on and all it does is make the rest of the window look dirtier!

    Here are some of the mods I have done.

    Since that post I have disabled the TPMS by bridging a wire on the ECU.

    Installed a Viper Remote Start security system.
    - Remote start from 1 mile away.
    - Remote start, lock, and unlock from my cell phone from anywhere in the world.
    - The unit is wired to turn on the rear defroster and heated seats from the remote.

    Yup..tint came out great..plus it has a lifetime warranty. $199 for everything except the windshield obviously.

    If you can stand the annoying music on his website, its Auto Tint plus in Easton MA. :)

    Nice mods for only two weeks in, lol. it's taking me forever to do mine, lol. how much were the floor mats? the stock mats are so cheap, need some new floor mats too

    Thanks..the floor mats are awesome and fit perfect. I bought mine at JuicedHybrid.com for $108..but PriusChat shop also sells them. They are collecting a lot of dirt, especially on the drivers side...the factory mats would have already been damaged at this point without them. good luck!

    i got the prius 1 too and i hate not having cruise contorl i would also like the smart key other then that i do love the car

    Its been great so far... been through the car wash..snow areas of Vermont..and on 10 hour road trip..so far no chips.
