No it does not. The issue is not a car that leans, it is mat that has a 1/8" border that when it gets some water on it it flows onto the carpet. Here is a pic.

This is a HUGE flaw for a mat that is suppose to protect your car from the weather. This is what happens when you get a little snow or water on the mat.

This is a pic of the Husky mats border. I do not own these but I bet they do not let water leak on to the carpet.

I've seen the pictures. I just don't see how it leaks unless you carry A LOT of water into the car. Mine have never leaked or even came close yet I carry mud and water into my car all the time during the winter months while working on my preserves. I wear a pretty hefty boot too!

Anyway, I'm not picking on you, Judgeless. I just like to balance your posts about these mats. I really like them and am very happy I purchased them. I do however accept that they did not work for you and am glad you post about your experience. That's what this forum is all about. :)

Well at least you got them, I've had them on order for 3 weeks along with mud flaps and nothing?
Is this normal, does ordering from Prius Chat take this long???

Mine were two weeks,But I ordered right from weathertech!
PC Shop might get a bunch of orders and do them at once so it might take longer?

I wouldn't have cared to much but they did take the money from my Paypal account the next day so I kind of thought they would ship that week, I guess I can put them away for next winter, but this will be my last order through PC

These mats are nice enough to leave in all year around they catch a lot of dirt,Little Armorall and they look new! I'll keep my carpeted mats for when I sell or trade the car!

I keep the mats in year round also. In the summer I do not have issues with them. In the winter all the snow melts and flows onto the carpet. This is a HUGE flaw in the design. They should call them Summer Weather Mats, because in the winter they fail.

Here are some shots of my Black Huskys (DS only-raining today and not much room on PS in my garage).
I've had them since October, and they've seen the worst winter in years....

I'll probably keep them in year-round as well.

I have a 2011 Prius and ordered the black WeatherTech mats. They arrived via FedEx 3 days after I placed the order. They fit perfectly and look GREAT in the dark grey interior. No odor at all. I paid $104 via the PriusChat shop. Hope that helps.

They are great mats if you do not get snow or water on them.

Keep in mind Judgeless lives in extreme conditions so the mats did not work for him and they leaked onto his carpet.

I get plenty of water on the mats during the rainy season and I have never had them leak. I would also buy them again. :)

I do not live in an area with extreme conditions. I live in Cleveland OH. We get the same weather as New York and Chicago. Our weather is mild compared to the upper east coast and cities in Minnesota and North Dakota.

When Weather Tech designed these mats they made the boarder to low as shown in this pic.

When water gets on the mat from rain and snow this happens.

Another issue is the material they are made of shows a lot of wear after one year. Here is the hole that is starting to grow from the heel of my shoe.

    1) The mats have a design flaw.
    2) They are not durable
    3) The company is not responsive to emails or phone calls.

Why would anyone buy these mats? There are better options out there.

The mats have worked for countless other people and owners like myself have been very satisfied with them despite you posting those same pictures over and over again. I post my opinions simply to balance yours. Maybe instead of posting the same pictures over and over in the same thread you could find something better to do with your time? :D

I just ordered a mix of Husky (the floor mats) & Weathertech (the cargo mat) and couldn't be happier!

I have a 2011 silver Prius, with the light grey interior. I redid the seats with aftermarket 'dove grey' (very light) leather. Then I scoured these forums, and made my decisions, and I'm very happy with the results!

I posted about a dozen pictures of each - see links to the albums below!

    FLOOR MATS:
I decided on the Husky floor mats because they looked nicer, didn't have the little leak-happy holes in them that the Weathertech did (...these things don't need it - they stay put like crazy glue), and because the driver's floor mat goes further up under where your left root rests (all the way up, instead of just halfway). They're also a bit darker grey than the light grey Weathertech floor mats, which look extremely light (yuck).

I'm extremely happy with how the colors match. The grey Husky Weatherbeater floor mats are just right. I was a bit worried that the material would feel cheap (some had alluded to this), but I don't feel that way at all now - they are very nice. I was also worried that my heel would slide around (i.e. require energy to stay in the rest position), but that doesn't happen at all - your feet stay put.

One tiny issue: the rear floor mat (one long piece covers both sides) has a little hump to it, but I imagine that's because I *just* unboxed it (...it was shipped bent in half), and it probably has to settle.

No smell or offgassing whatsoever. Also, I ordered them off Amazon, and got them within about 10 days.

    FLOOR MAT PICS ARE HERE:
Sorry, I could not post the URL (even though it's at Priuschat.com) because I'm new. (GRRRR - a bug). Go to PriusChat, then 'albums', then find 'Ryan's 2011 Prius'. (Album #1131)

    CARGO MAT:
I went for the Weathertech cargo mat - the grey. It's quite a nice color, it matches well. There is also no funky mis-fit in the left rear corner (as you look at the car from behind) as some had shown pictures of. When I drive, nothing slides around - I'm very happy with that. Also, the material is very flexible - it's easy to lift up the under-trunk storage ledge, and if you fold the rear seats down, the material can bend very easily (to lay something flat & heavy down), no problem.

Again, here, no smell or offgassing at all. I ordered this from Weathertech, and it came ultra-fast - maybe 4 days after I placed the order.

If you have a light grey interior, I would highly recommend the Husky floor mats & Weathertech cargo mat. I would steer folks away from the Weathertech floor mats, due to the half-left-foot coverage, the lower lips at the edges, and the hook-holes in the bottom of the driver's side floor mat.

They have a good product and they are a major advertiser here on PriusChat and help make it what it is!
SUPPORT sellers that advertise on PC,PriusChat is a better place.

It is not a good product. The picture is worth 1,000 words. If you get water or snow on these mats they will leak on your carpet. And after one year of use there is a hole starting to form near my heal.

I am all for supporting the forums. If I were Prius chat I would stop selling these defective mats and start selling other mats. Weather tech is a horrible company. They do not respond to emails or phone calls. The product is sold as is!!! How hard is it to design a good floor mat?

I have WeatherTech floor mats and the cargo mat for my 2011. I love them, no issues at all.
