Stock tint %

    I am in the process of tinting my wife's and my 2011 prii and I am wondering what the stock tint number is for the small lower window. I did a search but couldn't find a definitive answer.

    SCH-I500 ?

    Just tinted my car yesterday and went 15% (darkest legal in Florida) for the rear hatch. I didn't want to add more tint to the lower window so I kept it stock, but now looking through the rear view mirror I can see that the lower window is definitely lighter than the top hatch. The 29% seems about right, and it is almost a rose-colored window compared with the clear top hatch.

    With the side windows, I didn't want darker rear windows when compared to the front (Florida allows 30% front, 15% rear) so I went 30% front and back. On the silver car it looks great.

    I'm from Green Bay so I have no vested interest in this. But, from where you describe your location, aren't you by definition a "troll"

    True, I live amongst the trolls, but was raised in da great white north. Our "big" trips were always to Green Bay:D Go Pack!

    Ah yes, the big city. When my kids went off to school in Milwaukee I reminded them that they were from a "hick town" and not to forget it. I swear half of Green Bay and my friends are Yoopers anyhow. Eh

    Same situation, I had 35% done everywhere except the rear hatch bottom half.. Looks weird when looking out the back window.. but from the outside looking in, it looks even..
