    Hi all-

I got one of those license plate mounted back up parking sensors and now I need to send the wires up through the liftgate (through the gasket cluster at the hinge?!) and then down to the back up lights. Is this mission impossible or just mission near-impossible?

    Thanks for any suggestions...

WD40!! I ran 4 18awg wires and a 14/3 120VAC through that grommet so your little parking sensor wiring should be a cake to fish through.

just a question but why does it need to be connected to the reverse lights? there is a reverse wire you can tap into near the kick panel by the parking brake.

otherwise if you are sending wires through the hatch and the rubber tube.. many people on here have suggested using lube. i attached mine to a chopstick with duct tape to fish through the rubber tube. seemed to work :)
