That tire comes in sufficient sizes to fit all Prius generations. I have installed them on my 2004 and 2007 and am very happy with them. It is a great tire for those owners who do not face winter snow - or who have dedicated winter tires for that season.

Would bridgestone ecopias look right on a bigger set of rims?

Have them on 07 and 09. Best rain tire I have ever owned, better stopping power than anyting but race rubber. Quiet, Bridgestone handleing & and better mileage. Best addition/modification to you can make to your ride. Just got 11 and will have to burn off the stocks before getting my 3rd set.

    Thanks for the review!

YouGot them for a good price but I still think they are way overpriced. They list for $199/each. That is pretty pricey when you consider there are other LRR tires that are of good quality. It's a shame because I'd really like to use them on my 17" wheels.

Keep use posted once they break in. :)

The MXM4 ($132) I've been looking at is a V-rated tire so the warranty is 55,000 miles and has a rating of 500 AA A UTQG which is higher than the Ecopia but that doesn't really mean much. :)

    Michelin Primacy MXM4

The Continental ContiProContact ($137) is another great LRR option with a 60,000 mile warranty and 400 AA A UTQG.

    Continental ContiProContact

None of this is meant to downplay your tire choice. I think the Ecopia EP100 is an awesome tire and since you got a good price on them you did will IMO. :)

I like the Continental option...maybe that is an option next time around! I just don't have any experience with Continental tires...i always thought of them as 2nd tier after the big boys (Michelin, Goodyear, Bridgestone, etc.). The Michelin Primacy is another option but i wasn't 100% sure that it is LRR. It is "X Green," which apparently is similar to LRR...but i did not want to take a chance.

The main reason I am not going to try the Continental is the fact TireRack.com doesn't offer the $70 Rebate on them like they do for the Bridgestone and Michelin. :)

It should only get better from here as they break in. :)

it is hard to justify summer-only tire in our area.. it snows yet not enough to have a winter wheel set.

Anyone tried new EP422? they supposedly as green as EP100 in all-season package.

For the EP422 potential buyers, maybe we need a different thread to talk about them??

I believe the Michelin Energy Saver tires are the most fuel
    efficient tires you can buy.

They have been on for about 38,000 miles, 195x65x15, they
still have at least 15-20,000 miles of life left. They are quiet and
    seem to roll forever.

Fuel economy went up 2-3 mpg over the stock Yokohama Avid tires, which were the same size.

Is there really a difference in fuel consumption with energy saver tires and, if so, how is it achieved?
