    When they get the efficiency over 25%, and the cost per watt under $.50, then I will be very interested. At 11%, you need a huge space to get the kind of power you need for a typical home, more than the roof will support.

    You need to reduce your energy consumption first.

    My house has 1,000 square feet of South facing roof, which will hold both enough PV to run the house, and enough hot water panels to heat most of the hot water, and winter heating.

    Price is the big issue at this point, for me.
