Yes colors can be impossible to guage online...just look at Salsa Red or any of the other Prius colors. Well I ordered the N15 Beige ones this morning after procrastinating for awhile. Since I hardly ever have anyone using the back seat I try these. They're $129.95 for the front one by the way. I am going to try to get the console piece if they make that too because that will really get dirty fast. I have the Salsa Red with the Ivory interior. Did you get to see any of the other colors? It does look like the n15 beige is almost a perfect match for the Ivory.

    Fred,
Sorry I didn't look at the N15 Beige. I wanted a darker color than the ivory and actually was looking more at the grey colors. I should have asked for a swatch of all the beige and gray colors, but am very pleased with the N6. As I mentioned in my other post, they are making me a cover for the console. When I get it, I will post a photo.

When did they say you would get your covers? I know they are very busy - it took them 3 weeks to make mine because of the backlog from the holidays. They originally estimated about 2 weeks. I also had to wait for them to complete the pattern for the rear seats before I placed my order so as to get the dye match on the fabric.

Do you know what the backing material is on your covers? I'm wondering about the abrasion factor on the original fabric.

    Terry,
The velour material which is on the seats on the portion that you actually sit upon is backed by foam. They say it is the same quality material that the orginal manufacturers use. I would say the material including foam backing is about a 1/4 inch thick. There is a contrasting color of material (also velour feeling in the same color family) on the back and sides (basically on that part of the seat that you don't sit on) that has a different backing - it feels "rough". I just went out to the car and felt this and didn't know about it until you asked. The site does mention something about "carpet back" - maybe this is what they are refering to. I will tell you that the covers do not slide around - at least mine don't. I would call them with your questions. Their toll free # is 866-755-6005

I'm going to try and call them on Monday to see if I can get a fabric swatch first of n6 and n15, otherwise I might be stuck since I ordered friday morning as they might have started already. They said 2 weeks. The n6 on their site looks far darker than your pictures. So it's possible that the n15 is going to be too light for me. It looks like n15 might be an exact match for the ivory, or close.

Well I received and installed my front covers today, N15 Beige. It's much darker than the pics so it's really perfect. I would recommend these to anyone worried about the ivory interior...good product! I get some pics and post them this weekend so you can see the other color.

That's a great deal Joel, I paid $129.95 for the two front ones and my Toyata dealers wanted about $160! And the dealer did not have them in stock. Most people don't even realize that they're covers they fit so well and I now don't give a second thought to the getting that light interior dirty.

I couldn't find them listed for the 2004 Prius on the link provided?

Hey, I ordered these in Ivory today from toyotapartsstore.com to match the Driftwood interior. They'll probably get dirty faster than gray, but they should be easier to clean, too!

Just got a note they are out of stock on the seat covers. 10 to 14 day wait. :-(

    Kind of interesting...
The toyotapartsstore.com is actually part of
    donjacobstoyota.com in Wisconsin.
After they e-mailed that they didn't have them in stock, and the wait would be 10 to 14 days, I asked if they had any color in stock. They e-mailed me:
    -------------------------
I have most of the seat covers dropped shipped from the manufacturer.
The manufacture does not keep stock, every order is made on demand.
Having them the manufacture does lessen the time involved
    -------------------------
    FYI

I really believe those contemplating seat covers should seriously consider "leather" installed by the dealer. It isn't that much more expensive, in fact may be equal in cost. I'm sending a pic of the driver's seat including the armrest in my Prius. Click on it and it'll go to full size. Whatshisname.

not to mention, by going through the dealer, you get the warranty coverage on the work done.

Like another poster, I used GT Covers (http://www.greatcovers.net/) for my seat covers, just the front two seats. Cost with shipping about $140.00. Since I have the silver Prius, with gray interior, I went with the H5 Gray velour fabric & it looks great. I installed myself, which was more of a pain than it needed to be because the instructions are very brief, without good diagrams. The cushioned fabric does seat you up a bit higher & I wasn't prepared for that. Guess I'll work on grinding it down. :D Anyway, I am quite happy with the purchase.

Great pictures of the seat covers. I have them sending me samples. Noticed that you had a nice cargo liner and was wondering were you got it from. Thanks again.

    Changing Seat Color-Seat cover suggestions?

Has anyone hated the light tan so much that they used seat covers to change to grey or burgandy or some other color (Leather is not an option- thanks anyway)??

I'm tempted by that $150 burgundy colour set for my Salsa red, but I only really need it for my front seats, and getting burgundy for the front, and something different for the back would be odd. (I assume it's synthetic so it won't bleed colour, right?)

Thus I may just get that Toyota Parts Store one, for $120.

Nope, Toyota Parts Store costs too much for shipping to Canada. I will get it from GT Covers.

I will probably just get the ivory velour, but has anyone gotten the waterproof burgundy for their salsa red Prius? Has anyone tried any of the waterproof fabrics? The ivory velour seems fine, but I'm just wondering.
