    i read the entire article. how do you surmise that prius owners were insulted or that it's a bad use of the prius?

    That part is insulting. It said we blend in well with the traffic. I thought we stand way out there. :D

    Dennis, That all depends on where you live. There are three Prius owners on my block alone. If LA city Gov't is anything like NYC Gov't then they own and use many Prii.

    I don't know, I think the article goes to the trouble of pointing out exactly why The Prius is a good vehicle for this application. And I'm not insulted. Prius Vice? All we need is a Jan Hammer soundtrack and we can all go back to the 80's....okay...now I'm insulted...

    I used to stalk my coworkers in the parking lot after work and then blare the horn at them...it kinda sounded like the road-runner from the cartoons...MEEP MEEP....it didn't do a lot other than make them turn their head and laugh :(

    You could stalk your new, upcoming boyfriend after what the current one did to your car LOL

    Yes, I found that insulting. For all the crap Prius owners get... - For police to say "it blends in" seemed a bit insulting to me...

    Why the worst use?, well -

    I hate to think that the Prius makes it easy for them to sit around in the hot sun all day and when they find no violation, go harass them anyway. To each there own, but I thought LA had some poor young runaways on the street that could use some help rather than having cops spend their days trying to get a "happy ending" only to get angry when they don't.

    Blah...I've never heard of Priuses being part of the prostitution rings...from what I've gleened from Weeds is that the Prius is great in the gang circles (since they're quiet during drive bys). I'm in a moderate crime area in Atlanta....which I've noticed depends more about your common sense then what car/value you have in being a target for crime. The dumber you are...the more likely you'll have a problem.

    Are you kidding me! Sorry putting Prii in front of seedy massage parlors is insulting, at least I park mine out back!

    Ha! I doubt it the Crown Vic has a cult following with some LEO's and in case you get a flat you can park a Prius in the trunk of a Crown Vic! Not to mention the fact that in a shootout the Vic will actually stop a boolit, Prii only make them hesitate.

    I like stalking grocery parking lots for people that have their arms full of groceries. Don't even need the horn because they're so startled to turn and just see you sitting there that they soil themselves and drop their groceries! BaHAAhHAhAhAHha, :pound: I know that's sick but FHoPol made me do it! :thumb:

    p.s. if you wear a burqa with nothing underneath you can stalk me anytime, PM me, K? We can go out and stalk the grocery parking lots together. :yo:
