This topic was hijacked and and moved to FHOP. It is a news item concerning the Prius and it definitely belongs in the Prius and Hybrid news Forum.

Eh. Like i said before, these are car journalists with no patience. They clearly didn't drive the car consistently and didn't have an open mind to learn the best way to drive it.

Result: they got fed up with it, and how it didn't give them endless power like every other frickin car they get to review.

    Ingrates...

The "Power Pimps" strike again. I try to read as little from the automotive press as possible; they appear to be nothing but schills for the old-school car industry.

That these dinosaurs even mention the 300 hp Volkswagen Phaeton in the same breath as the Prius tells you where their head is. This is the same moribund thinking that drove GM's bond rating close to junk status.

The power pimps rule the automotive press, and here is another red flag on conventional wisdom. These guys are incredibly out of touch with all but the NASCAR crowd. They are a part of the problem.

    Peace out.

    P.S.
Are there any female auto writers? Women buy a lot of cars too. I might enjoy seeing a different sensibility displayed.
