The attached is a write up for how to install a Sony DSX300BTX headunit and a Metra Axxess ASWC universal steering wheel control interface with a Scosche TA02B wiring adapter, Sony DAMC10 external mic (for bluetooth) and a Scosche 010TA2103B headunit adapter. Cheers,

    Roger

How is the sound now? Did you upgrade the speakers as well?

Sounds good. The diff in AUX with power vs streaming bluetooth is BIG. The crackly sounds the AUX cable would send when the phone was powered up was significant.

No, I started with the headunit. Once there is time and funds for an amp, sub and components, that will be the next step.

My upgrade went from speakers to head unit then to subwoofer. I have yet to add an amp. The head unit's 22 Watt RMS is loud enough for me (so far). The speakers can do 75 Watts so they are under-utilized now.
