Ok so I get in my truck after driving the Prius for a week and automatically started to pulse like I was in the Prius, LOL ! Wow you really get used to driving Hybrid style really fast. Started to think about it, changing my driving habits in the truck might help fuel economy a little bit right.;)

YES! I read about the pulse & glide technique a couple of years ago. The article was about maximizing your MPG in a car with the standard Internal Combustion Engine, (ICE).

Apparently it is a matter of finding out at what RPM you hit maximum horse power, then "pulse" quickly to that RPM and then push in the clutch or "glide" as best you can in an automatic. With most ICE only vehicles this seems to work best at non-freeway/Hwy speeds. I did do this in my Civic and it did seem to help increase my city driving MPG.

Will be curious to see if you notice increased MPG in your truck.:D

When I'm in a non prius I start braking early until I realize I really don't need to :)

Pulse & Glide has been around far longer than have hybrids, and can produce stellar results in nonhybrids. It just requires a bit more work to perform in your truck than in your Prius.

I will continue to try it in the truck, maybe it will help me get over driving it once a week to work.
