So far our Prius is now over 2 years old. Mileage is just a few miles shy of 50,000.

No major problems to report, except we can't get the cd player to work, even though the Navi works fine.

MPG's of course vary with the weather. Here in Oregon 10% Ethanol is required all year long which does not help mpg.

Winter weather mpg is fairly consisitent with 46-48 mpg, calculated of course.

Summer temps, are nearly alway well over 50 mpg. So I would estimate average MPG is 50 as indicated by EPA.

This is mainly my wifes car and she drives it nearly 90% of the time.

In closing I will say this....

If our car was damaged from an accident and had to be replaced, we would buy another Prius without hesitation.

I believe that says it all.

I am at 62,000 miles, zero repairs, and get about 51 mpg winter, 57 summer.

I feed bad for all the people that wasted $1,250 on an extended warrenty.

41,000 miles. No major problems. had to have the spoiler replaced and a dash panel under warranty. Only oil changes done on my part, plus 1 air filter for the ICE and the cabin. This is my first Toyota I'm from detroit and have had 5 gm in my life. if my car can't make it till i pay it off before i need to pay for major repairs it will be my last Toyota. If it proves itself to me i will be ready to buy a new one once i can't drive this one anymore.

29,800 miles. The only issues have been condensation on the MID and the driver's door separating. Both issues resolved by the dealer under warranty.

I have averaged 48 mpg on a daily 52 mile RT commute with mostly highway driving. I love pulling up to the pumps and only needing 8 gallons to fill up. Especially with the high price of gas.

I plan to keep this car for at least ten years. My first Toyota also. If the reliability remains as good as others on here, it will not be my last.

My first Toyota and not likely to be my last as long as they stay at the top of the fuel efficient and reliable market segment.

I've put 5,300 mi. in 3 weeks. Almost all highway. Car runs smooth and quiet. Love the JBL. I just went through the first 5,000 check and everything is fine. Getting overall 53 mpg calculated.

I am astounded and very happy with this car. I had a Toyota Tacoma for 8 years and 261,000 mi. before this car. I'm a Toyota fan and will probably stay that way.

2007 Gen 2. Closing in on 50k, about to do another oil change. No issues other than the rear alignment problem when new and the inverter pump recall which was done a couple of months ago.

I have almost 100 miles on the clock, well 94 to be honest. No major repairs :der: Actually I still have not figured out all the doo-dads and buttons, I did learn how to get ALL the doors to unlock when I touch the drivers door. I had an old Toyota Pickup back in the mid to late 80's worked as a courier and probably had close to 270,000 when I sold it, still running. My "old" Honda Civic drove off today and I'm still a bit sad to see that car go  had a bit more punch and pretty good milage still as a member of the Prius generation it is pretty groovy.

over 150,000km on the 2005. Nothing to report recently other than a new hatch and rear bumper (accident) and the 3rd set of tyres. Brakes are still originals with well over 50% left.

2010 has 26,000kms. CD player still skips but not as often as when it was new. 50mpg is still possible in both cars in the summer (prob closer to 55mpg). Still trying for a record tank right now (sitting at 60mpg right now. Current 2010 record is 58.8mpg)

2010 with only 8089 miles [has already undergone one transmission fluid change (I'm hypersensitive about this and will probably do it again at 20,000, as I had 2 previous Acuras with prematurely failing transmissions) and 3 oil changes, lol]. MPG-wise on current tank, computed is currently at 55mpg (summers here can go to 110, egads), so ~52 in actuality? Around 55 mpg computed is as high as I've been able to get it for extended periods so far.

We purchased my wife's 2010 II last July and she has 9832 miles. I purchased my 2010 IV last February and have 5247. I get 56 mpg with mix of hwy and back roads on my 52 mile daily commute. She gets 49 mpg on her back road 20 mile commute; These are truly amazing cars.

I had a 2000 Toyota 4Runner Limited that I bought new and over 10 years put 305,000 miles on it. Over the 10 years I had less than $1,000 in repairs. I replaced the front brakes at 170,000 miles and never replaced the rear.

This is the pic I used to sell it on Craigslist. I looked perfect and ran perfect with 305,000 miles. I got $5,000 for it. 4Runner Pictures taken 09-30-09

I was at a cookout last night and a friend of mine had a Jeep Grand Cherokee with 105,000 miles that started to get a knocking sound out of his engine. He found that two pistons that had pieces broke off the bottom. He did some research and found this is very common after 100,000 miles. It is an $8,000 repair. Do not buy a Chrysler, Doge or Jeep if you want to keep a car over 100,000 miles.

Almost 500 miles in. At about 48 mpg in mixed driving.

Mileage should improve - we're only about 10 days in.

58000 (close to 5 years). No repairs at all (except those caused by human error), original tires.
