This sort of job should be a sticky in this or another Priuschat Gen II forum.

Well, I have had the Prius on the open road. Everything works fine except I need to deal with the air bags and the selt belts... Apparently this is no easy change out the seat belts deal here. There is a extensive undertaking to repair this. I bought the complete setup- driver steering wheel air bag - passenger dash air bag with the computer module and BOTH entire selt belt setups.... WOW! did not realize a front end accident pretty much takes out the entire air bag /seat belt system! You have to REPLACE EVERYTHING... and I kept thinking it was just the seat belt itself.
Wondering if there is a nice step by step procedure for replacing that system in here. I have done a few search's but no luck so far. The charge for the complete front air bag system was $550. Now I need to follow {I am sure} a procedure so I do NOT energize the system while installing.
ANY HELP HERE GLADLY APPRECIATED! If you know where there is a good thread here on this subject please let me know or if not is there anybody out there that tackled this project?

I suggest that you obtain repair manual info at techinfo.toyota.com so that you'll have access to all of the safety precautions, thus reducing the likelihood that an airbag will blow up in your face.
