    Hello Everyone,
I recently imported a 2010 Prius III to Israel with a build in Myron & Davis 2DIN HU. I am very satisfied with the user interface and find it much better than the Rosen or flyaudio editions.

I love everything about this system, but I have yet to find maps for Israel. Other companies use iGo or Garmin maps on their devices, but this system does not seem to be compatible.

If anyone has a solution to the problem I would be very happy (and willing to pay for a working solution as well).

    Thanks

I think you have this unit. Myron & Davis
User manual and install manual pdf's available.

    Very nice! 5.1 sound!

Try their tech support email for map upgrade and let us know what file type. I do GIS mapping so I might be able to convert something or point you to a usable file.

Maybe repost with Myron & Davis Head Unit help as the title so more of the modders will notice it.

    Re: Overseas Maps

The maps are on an SD card according to the quick start guide. Suggest you pull it out and see if you can read the card file system and see what files are on it.

You have a 800x400 display - go to GPSPASSION.com and look up how to swap out maps (depending on the software you are using) - of just swap it out for iGo (much better)/Garmin....

Factory Nav use's a dvd as the map data base is in the 1 to 2 gb range. The SD card update for the system you inquired about is available from some small company in Korea and service isn't very good according to a review on Amazon.com.
