    What are the electrical boxes under the front driver and passenger seats?

    Under the passenger seat should be the audio amplifier. Not sure about the drivers side.

    Yes, you can tell it's the NAV DVD appliance under the driver's seat because it has a DVD slot accessable from the rear side of the driver's seat. Little door slides open and allows you to pull the DVD (copy it in case it gets damaged) so you can upgrade your data base if/when you feel there are too many new communities in the area you travel around the most. It's in the manual too ... just in case you forget.
