The Nissan Leaf uses lithium ion batteries, guaranteed for 8 years - 24KWH 250Kg. The Leaf appears to me to be the best buy at the moment. They should be available in Australia next year. I will probably buy one when they become available depending on how my Enginer DC converter holds up especially when my Enginer kit is out of the warranty period. I will probably sell my Enginer kit on Ebay.
