I got distracted by the MFD showing record breaking MPG (relax, only my own record) while entering the garage and rubbed the mirror cover on the garage door frame molding. It's really hard to take good pictures since everything is white. Here are some better ones:

It seems that some white paint got transferred from the door frame molding to the mirror cover and there is little evidence of actual scratch or gouge into the mirror cover but I haven't tried to take the transferred paint off to be sure. What is the material of the mirror cover? If it is just plastic then I won't bother doing anything. Thanks!

The mirror cover is plastic. I'd try ScratchX on the extra paint.

Thanks JimN for confirming it being plastic. I did notice a tiny gouge this morning but I won't worry about it.
