As far as I can tell, my account hasn't expired, but I can't tune to any channel on my Sirius|XM radio. I can access everthing through my online account, but not via my Prius car radio. I can also access the radio via my iPhone. I did some vaccuuming the morning this started happening and I'm wondering if there's some cable or something under the driver or passenger seat that the vacuum may have disconnected???

Anyone every experienced this kind of thing yet?

Mine lost the connection once, had to call them up to do a 'reset' of some type over the air, left the radio on during a time period they specified to get it to work again. It was easy.

I found my problem. Wasn't a connection. Seems my AUDIO portion of my account had expired. My Traffic and Internet accounts were all still paid up for and running just fine...but I guess the AUDIO portion is a separate deal. So, per the Priuschat members who've posted on here, I told the operator, when she offered me a plan for $208 for the next 12 months, that she should cancel my account. She politely put me through to the Cancellation Department. And, after answer the question from the Cancellation Department (sales)person with "I'm cancelling my account because it's just WAY too much money for as little as I use it." They offered me a plan at 50% off...$77 for the year instead of the $140+ price. Oddly, they were'nt able to roll my current Traffic and Internet subscriptions into it, so they had to credit me back for my two minor subscriptions and then add the internet (I dropped the Traffic since I don't really ever use it) I got all I wanted for exactly $100 for the next 12 months of use. I figure it's probably worth $8.33 a month for the services.

Though, I have to confess that I honestly thought several times about just cancelling ALL of it permanently...

I have to say that I love sat radio. All that music, much better quality than FM and no commercials. I paid $77 for the year, but it is worth much more to me. I do have a long commute - over an hour each way and sat radio is one of my favorite options.

(I have lost the sat radio connection at least 10 times over the past year. I phoned Sirius and they send a renew signal. The car should be stopped in an area with a clear view to the sky for an hour or so to get the new signal. I wish it did not happen so often)
