I am on the planning team for the World Record event.

Normally for Hybridfest/Green Drive Expo we have private speaker sessions on Sunday morning, but since the Hybrids On Parade(HOP) is happening on Sunday morning, we have forgone the speakers since we assume most people would want to be part of the HOP instead. The HOP event is stationed about 6 miles from Hybridfest/Green Drive Expo.

We'll probably all meet in the hotel lobby early in the morning and caravan over to the HOP starting point as a group.

The HOP should be done by 11:45, giving us all time to head back over to caravan back over Hybridfest/Green Drive Expo in time for the doors to open at noon.

Feel free to call me if you have any other questions.

Today's email update says 151 registered. That's not much of a margin for error. Is there a more relevant forum where midwest owners might notice this?

Looks like only 97 tickets left. Have 403 vehicles really signed up? Took a huge jump in the last week apparently! Nice!

Any data on the percentages of each type? Prius/Insight/Fusion/Civic/ETC?

We have enough to break the record. I want to say, though, that there are not 403 signed up. We made a tighter limit on the number of vehicles so the number of available tickets has been reduced accordingly.
Breakout is similar to the sales of hybrids overall. Majority are Prius, but I'm doing my best to get some more Insights and Volts too!
We have some pre-production PHEV Prius and Prius v in town for Green Drive Expo and I wish I could bring one over to drive in the parade but I'm pretty sure that is not going to happen. Dang!

After the parade I'll be handing out 2 for 1 tickets to the Dane County Fair so people can come on over to Green Drive Expo for 1/2 price. See you there!

No idea. I'm not handling that part of the event. I just was told we are past the number to beat the record.

Probably a smart idea not to reveal it even if you knew. Given the 5 hour round trip drive, I'd probably be one of those to bail out if there was bad weather and also a good chance not enough people would show.

Wisconsin is a very polarized state. Most of the population (Madison and Milwaukee) are very liberal and environmentally friendly. If you come to visit you would notice in Madison that the most common car is the prius and there are over 120 miles of bike lanes on roads. The green influence might not reach out of our state (most likely due to recent government events) but we consider ourselves to be very green and have for a long time.

We were supposed to be a leader in high speed rail. But I won't even start on that...
