The Silver Pine Mica is the same color that they had for '05 Tideland Pearl

I was hoping the gray in 06 is same or similar as gray/burgandy in 05. :(

So you're talking about the interior? I thought you were talking about the exterior colors.

I haven't really seen a live grey/burgandy interior, just the tan.

Just to compare.. using the cmyk values given on toyotas color chart... The new silver is a lot darker and less blue. Nice. The majority of the first shipment of 06's will be silver and black at the end of this week.

Yes, I had the same problem in Florida. I finally found my Package 4 in NY. I hope they get the rest put in soon.

This confirms that New England is not getting package 8. I had heard this a few weeks ago but this confirms it. I really wanted the leather. I guess I'll have to see how this fabric looks quality-wise. Depending on how it looks, I guess I can see if the dealer can get leather added locally.

This whole idea of different areas of the country getting different option packages really irritates me.

Don't know about the CA coverage but what happened to the Hybid-Related Component coverage that was 8 years/100.000 miles? It looks like they've deleted that warrenty along with the roadside assistance insurance.

Yes, it does look very similar to the color they showed formerly for Tideland.

The color portrayed for the '05 Tideland Pearl was very untrue to what the color actually looked like in real light which is more of a gray than a green.

The '06 Silver Pine Mica color portrayed on the site is pretty much what SPM looks like in the wild-a very light silver green (and very ugly too, I might add).

Well I actually think that is a bug on their website that will be fixed soon. The bug being that only the cloth seats should come up when picking an interior color with package 7.

It looks like XM radio will now be a dealer-installed option starting in March of next year. At least, that is, for the region that I am in (ZIP = 95134). Look at the eBrochure for your region (I have not checked the generic eBrochure to see if its there as well).

    From http://www.arb.ca.gov/msprog/ccvl/2005sulevpzevlist.htm

"The following vehicles are certified to the "Super Ultra Low Emissions Vehicle Standard (SULEV)" and are 90 percent cleaner than the average new 2005 offered for sale in California. In addition these vehicle also receive credit as "Partial Zero Emission Vehicles (PZEV)" or as "Advanced Technology Partial Zero Emission Vehicles (AT-PZEV)". Vehicles receiving the PZEV credit have near-zero evaporative emissions and their emission control equipment has a 15-year / 150,000 mile warranty. Vehicles receiving the AT-PZEV credit also make use of "ZEV-enabling" clean technologies such as alternative fuel, electric drives or other advanced technology systems."

Unless the California law regarding the definition of AT-PZEV has changed, the warranty should be longer. I am on the phone with Toyota right now to clarify, as they use the AT-PZEV designation but also quote the shorter emissions warranty. I doubt the representative will be able to straighten it out on her own. I plan to ask the CA ARB as well...

Ooops - she found another part of their web site that also states that the CA emissions warranty is 15 year/150,000 miles for AT-PZEV vehicles. So, she agreed to document the discrepancy and pass it on. Who knows what the official paperwork reads, rather than the eBrochure.
