How is the driver seating comfort

Alright.

Ya know, I can get good and comfortable in 3rd gen Prius. I would just prefer a steering wheel slightly larger, and I really like a 3 spoke steering wheel design - 2 on sides, 1 on bottom. I'm pretty spoiled with the Accord wheel. Even C&D brags about how much they like it.

 

okay, but if you sold on a steering whell, you can go aftermarket?

 

We tall drivers are doomed to never be completely comfortable due to the steering wheel.

But was thinking about this on the way to work this morning, since a company can make a replacement steering outer rim....could they also make another replacement wheel that has a larger rim diameter....

And in doing this, it would extend the 'arms' out say a half inch more.

Which might enable them to put a curve there to get rid of the uncomfortable sharp corner that makes it a pain to rest your hands on the junction.

And also wik, curve the 'arms'(?)back toward the driver before attaching the outer rim. It might look at bit tacky for sure.

But if just one inch closer to the driver is possible, this would make a dramatic difference.

I'd pay up to $350 in a heartbeat for another inch.

And yes, I know I'll pay dearly for saying that.
