I wonder if the grill sections could also double as a good vehicle piece to attach some cold air protection for better winter milage. Even a thin clear lexan backing should do the trick and look better than the "sausage stuffing" look that the foam pipe insulation offers. Any pic with the grill installed on the 10-11 would help.

Does anybody really want that logo on their car that makes it look like a lawnmower or a barbecue?

Well it is called "Grillcraft." Doesn't get much more redneck than that.

Did you look at their website, they call nearly everything billet, even expanded metal screening.

    http://www.uniqueautodepot.com/category-s/419223.htm LOL

That said, I don't think it would look too bad sunk back into the grill opening a bit.

Have you thought about buying the mesh from Home Depot and creating your own. If you do it right it could look good. A lot of the import tuners go that route.

Not really -- I wanted to see what it looked like and was surprised they didn't have a picture. (They do have a photo for my other vehicle, the Kia Sorento, and it looks okay, but I don't think I would bother to change from the stock grille). Since this is "custom made to fit" I thought it might look better than HD mesh -- and I'm sure I would scratch the paint with the sharp edges. Then I might not like how it looks after all is said and done anyway.

    I hear ya. :)

Another idea is to paint the mesh or use a rubberized undercoating product. It would still provide the mesh look but tone down the contrast. I don't know, just thinking out loud. :)

Given it's custom-made, it could look decent if you can ask them not to put the lame logo on.

Maybe you could take off the GrillBilly's badge and cover whatever disfiguration with a TRD badge.

Thinking of grillcraft G3 kit also. Still around $200, could be the next project on this list.

Believe it or not, zip ties. May sound ghetto but no one noticed. The guard I bought was black so I got some black zip ties to match so they would be concealed. Much better than spending $200 on essentially the same thing.

Zip ties and duct tape, two of the greatest things ever. Plus 2-part epoxy or JB Weld are must haves in any garage. ;)
