Llumar CTX? Keep in mind it's not a true ceramic film.

Speaking of Llumar CTX I have a spare roll of it, enough to do the back windows on a 3G Prius, if anyone has use for it. I have no use for it.

There's an option to block avatars here? Why block others' avatars when you have an avatar?

Ok, then no-go on the Llumar if it's not true ceramic. Back to looking at the F1 Pinnacle. I really want a dark tint like the factory tint on my Sienna but not ghetto dark? What grade would you guys recommend for F1 Pinnacle? Also leaning towards Llumar air blue 80 for the front roll ups, is that closest to clear in the tint market that I can get to help reduce heat from the interior and heat from the cops?

My friend Mazda 3 was done with F1 Pinnacle 35 on the back and Air Blue 80 on the front. The 35 definitely isn't as dark as privacy glass so you will have to go down to 15. I can post a picture later tonight.

Yes, I would love to see a picture of the F1 Pinnacle 35 in combination with the Llumar Air Blue. Thanks!

Privacy glass is usually 20%, but you'd have to go lighter for the film itself as the factory glass is already tinted ~75%. Pinnacle 30 might be a good choice (30% x ~75% for an aggregate of ~22.5%). Pinnacle 15 might look ghetto dark.

F1 35% looks clean and perfect on that Mazda, I can't tell that the blue 80 is on the front from your pic so that's a good thing! Very nice and thank you for the Friday gift! [IMG]

Hmm, is there a Pinnacle 30% and a 35%? If 30% is a available I'll go that route. Thanks!

    Take note of the following:

    F1 Pinnacle 30= 33% VLT
    F1 Pinnacle 35= 38% VLT
    F1 Pinnacle 15= 18% VLT

So, the VLT (visual light transmission) is actually a bit higher than the "number." Also ceramic tint hardly ever looks ghetto because it is more of a brown color than the "dyed black" appearance. Personally I think my Huper 30 is a good balance for appearance and nighttime visibility is perfect. I think 30% F1 would be a good choice for nighttime visibility as well.

Another thing you want to think about is that the darker you go, the more visible the edge will be. On the fixed windows there's going to be a 1/32" to 1/64" edge due to the way the glass is installed. The darker the tint, the more obvious that outline is going to be due to the contrast.

I tinted my back window with 35%. I need help though.

Does anyone have instructions on removing the back seat passenger windows? i want to take them out of the door and tint them.

    OR

Do you have a better idea?
