    It would better to skip Topgear, and go directly to the source.
    (Brainwash is a two fold game)

    Not easy to understand why, in fact.

    that means Prius has not been sold last year in China at all.

    But I remember it selling, just low numbers... it is very expensive car in China.

    I was in Shanghai last week and on my way out on Friday, spotted a gen III in the car park outside our office. Maybe this was the actual sole Prius car :)

    Toyota Slashes Prius Stickers in China

    It was likely an old one.

    Remember Japan committed atrocities in China. There is also not a high level of environmental activism. So the prius is expensive and represents an oppressor to the Chinese people. Its not hard to understand low sales.
