I look forward to seeing the Evos concept debut at Frankfurt. This is the future of Ford designs.

    Won't ever happen.

And why shy away from gullwings? They are so much more functional. Mine open up with only 11" clearance which is less than any "conventional" door. When it is raining outside, the door acts as the final umbrella when you crouch under it and shake off your umbrella, never getting wet. It's a great idea, and usefull everyday.

However, the concept has a major design flaw for gullwing doors. The glass is very large, and since the focal point is on the roof, depending on where the windows are rolled, the door will "feel" extremely heavy or not because of the counter balance strut. That's why other gullwings have short squat windows. There are others that force roll up the window before opening, but sometimes I like cracking the window.
