    :confused:I hate to sound stupid on here but i dont know how to determin what Pkg i have on my 2008 Prius. I bought it Saturday, and it is currently in the shop getting some stuff done to it. Can anyone tell me how to figure this out? Im sure ill have tons of questions once I start driving it all the time. I know i loved it the 2 days i had it in my possession.
    I traded my belove Lincoln town car in. It was an 03 and my 5th one. I just couldnt keep up with the gas bill anymore.

    thanks

    Hey Charged. Welcome to PriusChat and Prius ownership! :welcome:
    Quite possibly the easiest way would be for you to provide your VIN. We can figure it out from the codings.

    Okay, so maybe that's not the best way. Here's what your VIN tells us though.

    J = Japan
    T = Toyota
    D = Passenger Vehicle
    K = 5-door sedan, 2-wheel drive hatchback
    B = Body/drive Type = 1NZ-FXE +3CM
    2 = Series = NHW20 (Gen2 Prius)
    0 = Restraint System = Manual belts, 2 airbags, side airbags, side curtain shield airbags
    U = Prius
    3 = NHTSA check digit
    8 = Model Year = 2008
    3 = Assembly Plant (in 2008 there was only one manufacturing Prii)
    331554 = Serial Number

    Let's see if we have some package comparison charts laying around here. That way you can identify what options you have and that should identify the package.

    Go to toyota.com/owners to register your car. This will provide the service history. For that VIN, it looks like a base model.

    it has leather but jsut about no other fancy options. That is ok tho there is enough to learn as it is. Im not sure what is standard on these. I am sure i will like it as it is. The mileage is incredible i am just loving it. I cant wait to get it back from the shop

    I'm still fairly new myself, but if it's a 2008 with leather then it should have all the other fancy options, unless the leather is aftermarket.
