Sometimes when I hit the start button it takes a couple of minutes for the AC to start blowing air. I even tried stopping and shutting off and restarting but it still took a few minutes to start blowing. It doesn't do this all the time just evey now and then. Any ideas. thanks in advance.

I think that the AC doesn't blow air until the heat exchanger/AC unit is the correct operating temperature for the setting you've selected. Otherwise, you'd get a blast of cold/hot air when you wanted it to be the other.

It's actually quite nice of it, In my opinion.

If you have the AC set to Auto AC, it's normal for a delay.

I know when I start thr car it takes a second or two for the blower to blow. When it does this it's minutes before the blower kicks in. I do keep it set on auto but I tryed manually turning the blower up, turn ac off and several other things and it does nothing. Then all of a sudden it kicks in.
