    Hello All,

I want to make a few changes to my Prius. I would like to change out the stock headlights for the OEM LED headlights and add the OEM foglights.
    Has anyone done this?
I have some part numbers for the foglights and would get them through the dealer.
What about the LED headlights? Is there an improvement over the standard headlights? I have read about the "autoleveling" sensor that is mounted in the back bumper, is that something that can be done?

    Thanks

This has all been discussed numerous times, a search will yield threads on the subject.

Simple answer, no you cannot change your headlight assemblies to the LED ones. If it can be done the cost would be significant, enough to have just purchased a Prius V.

You can add fog lights, many have done it on here. You can get the stock Toyota ones, and have the control stalk switch put in like OEM but it costs alot again. In the shop here there is a fog lamp kit which looks very very OEM but no stalk rotating switch, rather a dash switch. There are threads again on this by people who have bought them and had them installed.

I just bought a 2011 Prius and want the LEDs like you did. I searched for and found your post. Since it's been a while since you posted, I wondered if you had found out any additional info or actually changed them (the headlights) out to LEDs.
    Thanks

A set of HIDs in the oem projectors would be the best bang for buck. Retrofitting the LED headlights would be very expensive. You could probably spend less money and have better results retrofitting a different HID projector inside the oem housing. The LED headlights just don't compare to a quailty set of HID projectors... Yet. :)
