    Hello all,

I just picked up a 2011 Prius III with Solar roof package, pearl white on dark grey interior. I got it at $2500 of MSRP and took advantage of the 2.9% APR for 60 months. Is that a decent deal?

I have a question about the fog light kit: how does it wire into the inside of the car?

Welcome aboard! Heck of a deal.

Lights are wired behind the dash with a wire running through the firewall. Quite an install.

Thank you very much. I looked up your procedure for the installation of the fogs and it seems pretty involved. Do you know how much the dealer would charge for it?

Also, what are your thoughts on tinting the windows? I read a post on the UV coating of the glass and am wondering if the additional tint is necessary.

For the solar roof, does the fan get turned on automatically after a certain temperature is reached or do I have to program it?

for the solar roof, just push the button and forget about it.

YES, I have stated this several times that window tints are probably the most inexpensive way to really take your car to the next 'sporty' level and also help with interior temps.

I would say around $100 as others on here have had it down.

No need for tinting up here (Alaska). ;)

No clue... I don't have solar or much sun for that matter. :)
