I'm still confused... you got a model Three with leather? Three doesn't come with leather, so it's either aftermarket or the wrong model. As for fog lights, if I'm not mistakened, those only come on the model Five, so it's likely also aftermarket/added by the dealer. What "audio" did you get?

Have you looked at the matrix at Toyota Vehicles : Toyota Announces Prices for 2010 Prius / Toyota Ignore the prices there as those are way old and Toyota has gone away from Roman numerals to spelling out the numbers.

Do you physically have the car now and have you paid the money? I'm concerned by the bolded part. Have you read Confessions of a Car Salesman - Edmunds.com about the 4-square system. If the answer's no, make sure you run the numbers so that you know you aren't overpaying. You can get the MSRPs by going to http://www.toyota.com/ and selecting Build Your Toyota.

Interest rate on my car loan is 0.9%.

Glad you were able to secure a lower rate. Money is cheap these days!

I, too, am curious about what model you ended up with and how many months of payments you've committed to.

And, although it's a moot point, selling a car like your Honda—instead of trading—isn't difficult and would probably have been more profitable. It also removes one of the variables from the "how much did that new car really cost?" equation.

I know that it would have been. But we are both very busy working people and just did not have the time or patience to deal with that. In the end we're happy.

Actually you can add them as an option. It is on the website as well. I have seen hundreds of 3s with them from dealers. Many of those features can be added. Some of the more advanced features might only be available on the 4.

We got the loan through a private bank. And yes, we did get Toyota Care. Free for 2 years.

I've seen "dealer installed" leather on a package 3 Prius in Dublin when I was shopping for my car.
