Stripes and/or paint jobs

A number of custom Prius paint jobs, many of which are sprinkled
around in PC threads:

 

I don't know about strips, but I'm thinking about using 3M matte black to cover my roof. At least I can always remove it if it looks too ricey.

 

I like the floral prints and especially the digital flames. Those seem original and more in keeping with the type of car the Prius is.

60s era racing stripes look completely out of place. They belong on a car like this '65 Cobra 427. The stripes actually, way back when, had a functional purpose. On the Prius, not so much.

The practice of putting functional stripes on vehicles, in this case aircraft, was put into practice just before June 6 1944, so Allied forces would not shoot at them!



of course the German BMW and Volkswagen owners thought otherwise!

 

The leopard stopped Prius is awesome!!

I'd park next to that one, anytime!

The real advantage of our Dalmatian Prius, is that it is not a paint job - it is vinyl stickers, which will come off, should we ever decide to part with Rudy (not likely)..

Mind you in a Gen 2, you can't see your own hood, so no amount of stripes would help you orient yourself.
