Will be possible to instal Viper 5902 Alarm with Remote Start on 2010 Prius IV

    Hello! I have a Viper 5902 recently purchased from Amazon and when received it i went in a car service to have it installed but they told me they can't do it on my prius because it is a hybrid car. I bought it specially for remote start option but they told me it's impossible to put remote start on a hybrid card? So, they are not able to install it or it's really impossible?
    Please help me as i paid around 300$ for it and want to know to keep it if i'll have any chance to have it installed on my pirus or it's better to sell it?

    I can't say about the Viper, but some dealerships here in the states (mine) install aftermarket alarms - usually the KARR system. It is possible but somewhat redundant. The only extra features it offers are "non-scannable" codes, motion detection and fuel line disablers. Otherwise, the standard OEM system is OK on its own.

    just to add some info to my first post, my car was imported from USA but i'm driving in in Moldova(Europe).

    Just out of curiosity, what does the Viper 5902 offer over the factory system?
