I recently signed up for access to the owners website. The registration was shown as accepted by the next screen, and even showing the correct VIN which I had not entered. Also the registration was confirmed by e-mail shortly afterwards.

However, now I can't log into the owners website. I enter my ID and password, select Sign In, but nothing happens. I have Cookies enabled, and Toyota.com is allowed through my firewall, so I don't know what my be happening. Does anyone have a suggestion?

Do you use Firefox? With an add-on such as NoScript? Or do you have any other kind of process/add-on that disables JavaScript? You need to allow toyota.com to that process.

I think there are problems with it today. They sent me an email to "finish my registration" which I know I've already done and then when I tried to do it as they asked a screen popped up that said to try back later.

Thanks to both for your replies.

I use IE 9.0 with Scripting Enabled. Also Java 2.7, though that should not have any effect.

I was receiving the same Try Again Later message yesterday, so quit trying. I was able to register successfully this morning, receiving both online and e-mail confirmation. I tried to Sign In just a moment ago, and still received the same "blank stare".

Interestingly, I don't even see the rotating arrow at the top of the screen in the webpage tab indicating that IE is waiting for a response from Toyota.com/owners, probably because IE never was told to send the Sign In data. So I assume there may be something wrong with Sign In HTML code, or, or,.......?

Looks like Toyota just got too much money to spend on changing their web site constantly. The bookmark I saved before no longer works. At least the page redirected back to the new Toyota owner page. Once again some of the service history records for my 2009 Prius has disappeared (the same happened last time they changed the web site). Let's wait and see if the missing records would reappear as they did last time.

I've been a registered user for 2 1/2 years. I had to try 3 or 4 times to get onto the site today. I would guess it's Toyota's problem.
    I did finally get in.

    Greetings:

I just logged in today to check some records and everything was there. Using Firefox and bookmark from January 2011. Maybe just a short glitch on their end?

I was finally able to get into the owner's site by registering under a different name and e-mail address, but with the same VIN. However I haven't been able to get back into the site after leaving it, even though Internet Explorer remained active.

I checked my service records while on the site to see if the steering TSB had been accomplished, and found there were no service records before 2/5/2008. This concerns me because I bought the car in 10/2004, and have had it serviced by the same dealer every time since then. I'll ask the service people to print my car's history when I go in next week for an oil change.

The Webmaster of the Toyota Owners website apparently has corrected all problems that prevented me from logging on. Don't know what was done, but I now can log on every time, and quickly. Thank you Whomever...:cheer2:

I have been trying since this weekend to log in to the Toyota Owners website, and all I get is caught in a loop that just takes me back to the login screen, over and over and over again. If I tell the site I forgot my password and "reset" it, and try again I still can't get in. I've tried with 2 different browsers, with java enabled, cookies accepted, and still nothing.

I need to look at my Service Records, DANG IT. I sent them an email on Sunday, but haven't heard back, either. argh.

how'd you get in touch with them? via the "email us" form they have on their site? I sent them a message a few days ago, and still nothing. I wonder if you could try to get on their site today and see if it still works for you....:)

I just logged in to see if I can see my service records and got this:
Also the response time from the web site is unusually long. They must be doing something to the web site (yet again!). I would give them a few more days. Good luck!

Sheesh, every page load is not a page load, it's a major download. Megabytes! just to get to the log in. I have never encountered a more bloated and inefficient website.
