I just bought mine a few days ago. Winter Gray base model package 3 for ~22,700+ tax/license. No Nav though....with the Nav, that's a pretty good price, IMHO.

I am those people. I bought mine from San Fran though i live in southern california. It was much cheaper up there. I bought a BASIC package 2 w NOTHING for 21.3k plus taxes. I bought and installed a navigation system myself. See thread re package for $499 plus 39.99 in shipping, 33.75 UPS brokerage fees, and about $16.00 in credit card currency charge (though if you have a different card this is waived):)

ETA: Winter Gray color - My 1st choice.

I'm in So Cal and I just used trucar.com and got a quote for $21931 for a Prius 3 w/nothing (it includes $500 discount). Did you shop around down here extensively? I also changed the zipcode for SF area and even though it has a $1000 discount, the same Prius 3 goes for $22310.

I'm going to seriously shop around next week (end of the year/month) and beat $21931.

$14700 for a Februari 2009 Prius II basic model (80kMiles) on the 6th of December 2011.

I friggin' hate how cheap certain things are in the US...

(Like the Ebay add for a Metra radio-dash kit for 7$ that costs me close to 40$ in the Netherlands...)

Just got back from the dealership in San Jose. Paid $24438 OTD ($22188 before TTL) for a Winter Gray/Dark Gray base Pkg III Prius. Also got quoted $20999 for a base Pkg II (he said that deal was only good for today), which was even greater than the MSRP difference between the packages. It was really really hard to resist going with the Pkg II at that price and use the money saved to aftermarket the HUD, audio, and bluetooth, but I'm not sure I really wanted to deal with the hassle since I'm not much of a do-it-yourselfer.

Also going to get the $1K debit card from the Toyota Shareathon promotion, which brings the net cost even lower. Did Toyota build too many Priuses this year or are these discounts normal? I see tons of them at all the dealer lots even at these heavily discounted prices.

Long time reader, but I don't post much.

We are going to buy a brand new 2011 package V Prius. Winter gray metallic exterior with misty gray leather interior. Includes NAV, floor mats, and 17" alloy wheels. Also includes Toyota's two-year (25,000 miles) free maintenance plan w/ 24-hour roadside assistance.

MSRP is $32,130. Dealer is offering $2,570 in end-of-year savings and $1,000 rebate. $28,560 before taxes and dealer fees. Total OTD pricing is approx. $31,050.

Sound like a pretty decent deal?

Bought a used 2010 Prius III w/ nav and solar roof for $23,991 + MA sales tax. It had just over 3,000miles on it. Also got the 8-year/100,000mile extended warranty for $975.

The cheapest 2011 Prius II we could find around the Boston area was around $22,700 so we thought the used 2010 Prius III w/ nav & solar was a good option...

Just bought a 2011 Prius III with Nav + Mats for $26,000 flat out the door price here in Southern California. This comes $23,636 roughly for the price of the car.

Just today put a $1000 deposit down on a 2010 Blizzard white Prius III with light grey leather and Nav and 35K miles. Costing $19,000 before TTL. Will be picking it up Friday!!! It'll replace my 2004 with 180,000 miles that I bought new in March 2004 after waiting 4 months for delivery.

I am located in San Diego and I have a firm quote for a Blizzard Pearl exterior 2011 Prius III with Navigation Package and Mats for $25375.65 out the door. I shall be picking it up tomorrow.

On the day of the pickup, I was informed that they ( the dealership) made an error in quoting me a price and they refused to honor the 25375.65 price. They said they could do $25,700 for the same Prius.

I accepted the "new" price as it seemed OK to me. So my actual price is $25,700 out the door.

Hi Joe, I just bought mine from Mossy Toyota in SD. Was your quote from Toyota Escondido? Also let us know how everything turns out for you!

    Hi Vegeto626,

I bought my Prius from Mossy Toyota as well.

Only bit of news is that they asked me for $300 more than the original agreed upon price when I landed at the dealership to pickup the car. The actual final price for me came to $25,700 OTD.

Can you clarify if $25,700 includes tax, title, license? Or did you need to pay TTL on top of $25.7k?
I was thinking of buying a 2011 Prius III w/ Nav tomorrow in Los Angeles/Carson. Best quote so far has been $24,700 + TTL.

Just got 2011 Prius II blizzard white for $22,292.40 + $399 (Karr alarm) from Toyota of Poway in San Diego.

I was disappointed with the finance manager, Bill Papanos.

He did not tell us he added $89 to the total price. I got a quote by email of $22,203.40 but on the bill, Bill entered $22,292.40. I did not realize the discrepancy because I was too busy taking care of my 3 years old son and 2 months old daughter.

Also I made a mistake by trusting Bill on the Karr alarm. He said the Prius can be hot wired and for $5 a month for 3 years, I can get the alarm to prevent this. When I computed it at home, it was actually $12 a month for 3 years. By searching online, I found out that I don't need the alarm since the Prius 2011 already come with the anti-theft Engine immobilizer.

In fairness to Toyota of Poway, I believe the price is good (except for the car alarm, which I don't need). The salespersons Mike and Dennis are very helpful.

It would be nice to go to the dealer and not to watch out that someone might take advantage of you. I did some research before purchasing the car, but I still made a stupid mistake by trusting this person.

Got a 2011 Prius II for more than $3000 below MSRP at Toyota Santa Cruz. More 2011 Prii on the way (until the middle of January), so a good opportunity for a decent deal for people living in the Bay Area/Central Coast.

just bought a Prius II for $21,300 from Carlsbad Toyota. My OTD came just over $23,000. I used USAA car buying services which was $100 below truecar.com quote. I tried to take this quote to a dealer near my house but they wouldn't negotiate and offered $22,500 in the parking lot. Had to drive 40 miles but I think it was worth the savings. Happy new years!
