Proper Charge By Dealer?

    Back up a step: do you know why the battery was dead? (Having been killed once it no longer has a normal life left in it. Be prepared to replace it sooner than later.)

    No, I don't. I am 99% sure I didn't leave anything on, because when I got in the car and it was dead, I checked.
    My presumption is that there is an electrical or computer problem (perhaps caused by the remote start the dealer installed). Thus, the irregularity with the entry system.
    Also, the electrical system has been repaired twice:
    1. front passenger window wouldn't operate from driver's control panel. Required a re-programming.
    2. touch entry system was not working. Required replacement of a wiring harness.

    That's normal. Mine does this as well, has done so since new.

    I hope my car is normal. It balances out my not being normal :eyebrows:
