    Hi all,
Today, I tried to replace the factory audio head unit (not the JBL one) with an aftermarket one.
But I have a big problem:
When I disconect the default Toyota radio (3 connectors on the back of the radio), I loose some informations on the MFD like speed, Consumption, outside temperature, etc... and the MFD stop working correctly.
Climate button on MFD bezel gives a "Check Air Conditioner Connection" message.
If I reconnect the 3 connectors on the factory radio, all is working nice...
    Someone can help me ?
Is there some wires to modify ?
    Thank you very much

    Jmi

So after looking on the net, It's seem that is not possible to remove the factory radio from the Prius because you will loose a lot of informations on the MFD...
I have read the same problem on Lexus IS300...
here is more information about that:

No problem!!! The 3rd plug needs a 68 ohm resister between pin 9(pink) and pin 10 (White) on the end of the plug. this will fix the a/c controls on the display. any questions email me back or send donations...
