Anyone installed or figured out a convenient place for a change holder in the v?

I know I couldn't believe it doesn't have one. I bought a coin purse and keep it my center armrest.

Lots of cars have done away with coin holders, for no good reason. We got one of these years ago, for our gen II:

when the Prius got totaled, the changer went with us - and now it's in the Leaf.
    $14-ish ... try ebay, & you're good to go.
    ;)

I use the tray in the center arm rest. I have knocked it over a couple times spilling the change. Admittedly there really isn't a good place to put it. No that I have ever really had a good place in any of my cars..... so maybe that is why I don't reall notice.

    Opportunity for Change holder

Some aftermarket seller needs to replace the card holder slot under the left vent with a drawer like this....

You could buy the ashtray that works with the cupholder on the top of the armrest. Or you could forgo it being a cup holder at all and just use it as the change tray.

I have been putting my change in a small box (a new wallet came in it) and placed it in the lower tray in front of the lower cup holder. That way I can get the change out easier too.

In the bottom well-just below the usb port, there is that little holding area. I cant thinknwhat that was for other than change.

Driver's door handle was suggested by my wife today. The bottom of the well is rubber and it seems to be deep enough. So far, so good...

My phone sits in that slot..

I imagine an iPod would fit in that slot and can also be plugged into the usb port.

Coming from a Gen II Prius, miss the huge secret compartment.

All good ideas. To me a separate "wallet box" or similar may have to work. The "secret" compartment is actually the lower solid cupholder for the passenger which I would hate to eliminate (even though there is a flimsy pullout holder under the right vent). Plus the lower cupholder is not easy to see or even reach if used for change, same as the usb slot (even harder to see and get to when considering change).

I use the following change holder/dispenser which has separate slots for US pennies, nickels, dimes and quarters:

I keep it in the bottom glove box most of the time, but for those who need more regular access it can fit in one of the cupholders in the center console or one of the doors. It's a little pricey ($10) for what it is, but build quality seems pretty good.

As a PriusChat noob I'm not yet allowed to post links, but I got it recently from Amazon - search for
    Winplus AC02000606 Coin Holder

I stopped carrying the change when Omaha installed new meters which can be paid via the phone.
    ParkOmaha.com has gone Mobile!

I am sure many other cities have done the same.
