We just replaced our 2008 II with a new 2011 III w/ Solar roof and Nav package. I bought the Homelink mirrior and am wanting to do the Auto dimming headlights. What other Mods would you recommend.

    Thanks

Congratulations, nice upgrade. Fog lights would be the only thing I would recommend... mainly for looks.

Here are some of the mods I did.

I fixed the TPMS with a ECU mod. Installed auto headlights. I have a Viper remote start that lets me start the car from 1 mile away using the a FOB or anywhere in the world with my cell phone and a Android app. It also auto locks the doors after 20 seconds and when I remote start it turns my head lights lights off.

Depends what you're going for. Software mods are boring to me. Suspension mods, however, be good.

Prius Plus Pkg Sway Bar-- $260

The suspension mods will make a significant difference in drivability.

I'd go for suspension upgrades, you'll appreciate it when you take it to mountains.

I was thinking more mod oriented, while i had the dash apart. I would love to bypass the speed sensor so we can continue to use the GPS and all the phone options while driving. Loosing everything when you get to 5mph is kind of an inconvienence while riding shotgun.

    We got the;
    fog lights
    window tint
    wheels
    cargo orginizer
    door molding
    all weather mats

I totally agree with you guys on the suspension mods. I thought there was a big improvement in the 2011 has over our 2008.

I second(or shall it be third or fourth) the wheel & suspension mod as I think they go hand in hand because when I get the wheel, I always want at the very least a quality lowering kit:).

I have the Beat Sonic Navigation bypass and it works great. I flip a switch and I have all access to the navigation inputs and full phone book and controls. Check them out at:

What is the difference in this set up opposed to the one the guy here is working on in. Other than this one is ready.

Ive read the Auto headlight thread twice now... Im thinking Ill get all the parts and fly one of the site guru's here on the site to do the Mod, while there here Ill get them to do my mirror and the Nav bypass.

Anyone interested in coming to CLT:D?
