Where do you mount your External GPS Unit?

    If you have GPS with a flat back, you can just keep it plugged in under the armrest and pull it out and Velcro it to the dash board when you need to use it.

    The best place that I've found (if you own a tomtom via series) is just above the steering wheel. You lower the steering wheel a little bit, then wedge the flat disk/suction cup mount between the space (even a little loose is good). It works great.

    I'm using Tetrax XWAY. It works great with GPS and smart phone.

    It is a magnetic holder. You can easily remove the GPS from it without touching the holder. It has a compact design and looks good on the vent.
