BT Tech Prius Stiffening Plates IN STOCK!!!

    I am VERY happy to report that after many months of waiting we have finally received our production run of our BT Tech Prius Stiffening Plates!! The CNC finish is excellent and surpassed my expectations.

    All backorders for this product will be filled immediately and will begin to ship starting tomorrow. For those that have ordered our BT Tech Prius Rear Aero Spoiler and our stiffening plate, both of these items will be shipped together.

    Brian, do you know yet if Toyota changed the plate on the 2006 Prius? I'd like to know before I order one. Thanks.

    Hello Doc.. From the information that I have received from my contact at Toyota in Southern Ca, there were NO structural changes to the 2006 US spec Prius including the stiffening plate. The only changes were basic cosmetic and interior trim options according to my source.

    Brian,

    Does this mean you have verified that your plate will work on an '06 (i.e., mounting holes line up, etc)?

    Hello Ron.. The 06 is the same car as the 05 & 04 so there should be no issues at all with installing our stiffening plate.

    I understand that it should be, but please let us know when you've been able to install one and verified it. I am not interested in buying something only to find out they moved the holes for some reason or another -- they have made incremental changes, and who knows if that includes moving parts in the undercarriage region for some reason.
